Application for the 2025 Tyrrell County 4-H Livestock Show and Sale
Important Dates
- January 31st
- All participants must be enrolled OR re-enrolled in 4-H Online.
- All participants must be registered for the event (2025 Tyrrell County 4-H Livestock Show) via 4-H Online.
- Applications must be submitted electronically to the Extension Office.
- February 9th Animals must be in the 4-H’ers possession.
- February 17th Report animal’s pick up date and weight to the Extension Office via the provided form.
- March Showmanship Clinics [specific date(s) to be announced]
- April 1st Keep or Market Animal form due.
- April 15th Show Day [The show is on a TUESDAY this year!]
- May 16th Livestock Logs due to the Extension Office!
Livestock Logs
Project books are an important part of your livestock journey! They help you keep track of what you’ve learned, how much you’re spending, and they can be used to help you fill out future 4-H applications. All youth participating in the 2025 Tyrrell County 4-H Livestock Show and Sale will be required to complete a Livestock Log on their animal(s). This log will be due to the Extension Office on or before Thursday, May 15, 2025. For each business day your log is late, $5 will be deducted from your final paycheck!
*Please type these pages (Cloverbuds excluded) and proof read them for spelling, grammar, and typos. ALL pages and sections should be completed. Blank pages will not be accepted.
Livestock Log’s will be emailed Monday, February 3, 2025.
