Livestock Logs (or 4-H Project Books)
Accurate record keeping is an essential part of your livestock project. Records help you track what you’ve learned, monitor expenses, and prepare for future 4-H applications and opportunities.
All youth participating in the 2026 Tyrrell County 4-H Livestock Show are required to complete either a Livestock Log or a 4-H Project Book for their animal(s). You do not need to complete both—please choose one option.
Youth who complete 4-H Project Records may be eligible to advance to the District level, where they can compete for monetary awards and additional recognition.
- CloverBud Livestock Log -----> This is the ONLY option for CloverBuds.
- 8–18-Year-Old Livestock Log -----> Livestock Log for all ages.
- 8-10 AND 11-12 Project Record -----> 4-H Project Book for 8-10 and 11-12.
- 13-15 AND 16-18 Project Record -----> 4-H Project Book for 13-15 and 16-18.
Completed Livestock Logs (or 4-H Project Books) must be submitted to the Tyrrell County Extension Office on or before Monday, June 1, 2026. A $5 deduction will be taken from the final paycheck for each business day the log is submitted late.
