As the owner of Bailey’s Southside Store—the last remaining country store in Tyrrell County—Mr. Bailey preserves a cherished piece of local history. In addition, he cultivates a large garden and shares his harvest at markets in neighboring Dare County. His commitment exemplifies the resilience and spirit of small farming in our community.
