2023 Achievement Night
Monday, March 20th @ 6:30PM
Come out to Tyrrell Hall and celebrate our 4-H'ers and volunteers and all the work they accomplished in 2022!
Who can Attend
This is open to everyone in Tyrrell County who would like to celebrate our 4-H'ers. Please RSVP HERE or to lauren_nelson@ncsu.edu by March 17th.
Our Program
We are asking that each family bring a dessert to share at our Pot Luck Dessert Bar. We will start our night off with our award ceremony and immediately follow with our 4-H Game Night, including BINGO, Uno, Indoor Corn Hole, and SO MUCH MORE! Even if you are not receiving an award, we are encouraging everyone to attend. If not to see what other opportunities Tyrrell County 4-H has to offer, than to meet new 4-H families and enjoy the games! All club members will receive a recognition item!
Our Service Project
Some of you may not know, but our Teen Council puts this event on each year to celebrate and recognize those that make this program what it is. As part of their community service project, they are asking that each family donate an item to the Tyrrell County Animal Shelter. This AMAZON WISHLIST was created to help make sure items donated are useable. We have been asked to please stick to this list as best we can, though items do not need to be purchase through Amazon. Some things to keep in mind: stuffed toys are not able to be utilized in our shelter for sanitary reasons; and any peanut butter donated should not contain xylitol, which is often found in reduced fat peanut butters, this is toxic to dogs.
