Tyrrell County 4-H Livestock Show


If your child is participating in the Tyrrell County 4‑H Livestock Show, please remember that all animals must be in the youth’s possession by Saturday, February 14.  For the latest information and important dates, visit the Tyrrell County Extension Center website.



Tyrrell County 4-H Chicken & Rabbit Show


If your child plans to participate in the Tyrrell County 4‑H Chicken & Rabbit Show, please be sure to register by Thursday, February 19.  The show will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, at Tyrrell Hall.



Northeast District Teen Retreat


Don’t miss the Northeast District Teen Retreat, taking place March 13–15, 2026, at the Eastern 4‑H Center!  This exciting weekend will feature a movie night, interactive workshops, district officer elections, a community service project, a dance, and more.  The event is open to teens ages 12–18, and the cost is $75 per person.  Be sure to register by Monday, February 23 to secure your spot!



Youth Market Turkey Show


Would your 4‑H’er like to participate in the T‑Shirt Design Contest for the Youth Market Turkey Show, or are they interested in exhibiting a turkey at the 2026 NC State Fair?  If you answered yes to either—or both—opportunities, please visit the Youth Market Turkey Show website for more information.
