While Marcia is new to this role, she is no stranger to Camden County or Cooperative Extension, previously serving as the Camden County 4-H Program Assistant & JCPC Coordinator. As 4-H Agent Marcia will oversee the Camden County 4-H program which offers 4-H Clubs; School Enrichment; Teen Leadership Programs; At-Risk Youth Programming; Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Programming; 4-H Camps and much more.

Austin Brown, N.C. Cooperative Extension, Camden County Center Extension Director, stated “We are very excited to have Marcia advance to the 4-H Agent role on our Camden County Extension team. Marcia is a proven community collaborator, has a track record of positively working with youth in Camden County, and possesses a vision for building a strong local 4-H program. I am confident that her skills set will position the Camden County 4-H program for growth and positive impacts for Camden youth.”

“I have been working with students for over 25 years. It has always brought me joy to see the spark in their eyes when they learn something new,” stated Marcia. “I look forward to bringing that spark to the youth and their families as I serve as the 4-H Agent in Camden County.”
